Command line tool for easily generating test fixtures. Specify the number of files to create and the destination directory to write them to, and files and directories will be randomly generated in the specified destination.
npm i -g generate-fixtures
npm test
Specify the destination directory and the number (in any order) of fixtures to create:
Example
fixtures temp 10
This will generate 10 files and folders at random depths in the ./temp directory.
You can also use -d or --dest to specify a directory, and -n or --number to specify the number.
Specify the directory to delete with --rm, along with --force:
Example
fixtures --rm temp --force
The file extension to use on generated fixtures. Default is .js.
Example
fixtures 50 foo --ext .txt
